👋Hi there!

I’m Sarah — a French native UX‑UI designer, graphic designer, and English-to-French translator passionate about creating meaningful, user-centered experiences.

Born and raised in France, I’ve worked across diverse international environments in London, Vancouver, and now The Netherlands (Venlo). I’m currently seeking a new opportunity in graphic design or UX-UI design position.

My design philosophy is simple: good design is about understanding people and their needs. I strive to create intuitive and engaging solutions that make a difference. My work spans the full design process, from user research and wireframing to visual design and prototyping — with a focus on usability, aesthetics, accessibility, and design iterations.

When I’m not designing or translating, you’ll find me capturing landscapes and nature with my camera, diving into a good book, catching the latest films or series, or exploring new places.

UX‑UI Design

I design across the full UX spectrum — user research, wireframes, high-fidelity visuals, prototyping, and design systems. Proficient in Figma and Figjam, I’ve learned my skills by completing the Google UX Design Certificate and volunteering as a UX-UI Designer for a Dutch environmental organisation called Viable Community where I’m part of a team who’s tasked to redesign their website, create their own Marketplace, with a focus on accessibility, usability, and sustainability. I also have some knowledge of HTML and CSS

English to French Translation & Copy Editing

After graduating in Communications and Graphic Design, I moved to Vancouver and began working as a Bilingual Copy Editor for Best Buy Canada, translating and reviewing French marketing content — from banners to product such as banners, catalogues, flyers, and product texts.
Since November 2021, I’ve worked at Viking Europe as an in-house French translator, handling localised marketing copy, product descriptions, flyers, and catalogues. I’m skilled in Trados, Multiterm, and terminology management, with experience in reviewing, subtitling and marketing localisation.

Graphic Design

With a solid foundation in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign thanks to my degree, I create visual content such as logos, posters, and social media assets. As an amateur photographer, I also work with Lightroom to edit photography and build photo compositions.

  • Native French speaker fluent in English with a global mindset and multicultural experience.
  • Versatile background in UX‑UI design, graphic design, and professional translation.
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce, marketing, and digital content localisation.
  • A strong balance of creative thinking and attention to detail, with experience managing deadlines and cross-functional collaboration.

I’m looking for a UX‑UI Designer, Graphic Designer, or English‑to‑French Translator role, ideally within 30 km of Veghel, especially in marketing, localisation, or digital product teams. I’m excited to contribute to user-focused experiences and visual storytelling in a collaborative, international environment

If you are looking for a multidisciplinary creative with strong UX‑UI skills, graphic design expertise, and bilingual-level English as well as native-level French language ability — all backed by experience in international companies — I’d love to hear from you.
